About The Photographer - Dominic Kerridge

I have been a keen photographer since the age of 6. During the last 25 years I have been interested in a variety of styles and photographic subjects.

In the past I have specialised in wildlife, and portrait photography. Today I favour abstract, macro (close-up) and capturing the atmosphere and ambience of landscapes.

In 2001 I undertook a 2 yearlong project in the Lake District where I moved to the Central Fells, living in the village of Grasmere and also on the Lakeside of Rydal Water.

I gained a tremendous insight into this spectacular region whilst walking each day photographing this stunning corner of the UK. I sought to capture the mood and atmosphere of the landscape, which I was inspired and infused by.

In 2003 I started exhibiting my work at galleries in the local area. The success and feedback that I received from these prompted me to embrace photography with a greater commitment and resolve.

Early in 2004 saw the completion of my on-line photo-gallery.

I am based in the South West of the UK, currently living in Bath.

I now am enjoying undertaking commissions for clients as well as selling stock photographs from my gallery.

To date I have undertaken lots of ventures, baby portraits, art reproduction, artist portfolios, book illustrations, properties (for house sale) insurance documentation of household valuables through to weddings.

I am very pleased to hear from people who are seeking a photographer, for I enjoy new commissions and opportunities.
